Colin Newhouse
President, Colin Newhouse & Associates Inc.
Colin Newhouse was born in England and educated there and in France. He qualified as a teacher in the UK and completed the first part of his Bachelor degree in Education at the University of Reading. Then he moved to France where he completed his degree, a License ès-lettres in Education and Communication from the Université de Paris V. In Paris, he started his career in adult training and development.
In 1975, he moved to Montreal. He became the Managing Director of a consulting company specializing in language and communications training and development, a position he held for 3 years, before moving to a similar position in CP Rail. In 1979 he joined Canadair. After setting up all language and communication training in the organization, he moved into management development and became the Head of Training and Development for the company. Among his accomplishments at Canadair were several culture-change programmes to integrate new divisions into the Bombardier family of companies. He intervened as an Executive Coach to Managers setting up new units and divisions in Canada and the United States.
He then moved on to hold several generalist positions in Human Resources in Bombardier/Canadair. In 1990 he joined Spar Aerospace to head up all Recruiting and Training and Development and then moved to Hewitt-Caterpillar in 1992 to hold a similar position.
Since 1993 he has owned and managed his own Human Performance consulting company, Colin Newhouse & Associates. He specializes in human performance issues and designs and delivers programmes to clients in Canada, the United States and in Europe. He designed and delivers the '360° Leader' programme for McGill's Executive Institute.
Colin is also President of Handicap International Canada, a non-governmental organization dedicated to helping those suffering from all types of handicaps.
Thérèse Dupuy

After a classical education in the Quebec system, Thérèse started her career in health administration. She then combined starting and raising her family with working as Vice-President Administration in her husband's company.
She then moved into Sales, managing major accounts for top companies. She eventually rose to become National Sales Director, a position she held with several industry leading companies. During this period, she also found time to be very active in the volunteer sector, holding positions as Executive Secretary for the Pinocchio Foundation and the foundation of Sacré-Coeur Hospital. She is currently a Board Member for Handicap International Canada.
In 2004, Thérèse changed her career direction and joined Colin Newhouse and Associates as Senior Associate, Business Development. She is also an Executive Coach and helps senior managers set up and follow through on their professional development plans.

Jacqueline Cao holds a BA in Psychology from Fribourg University, Switzerland, and, a master's degree and doctorate from Ottawa University. She has established her own company based in Washington D.C., specializing in mentoring/coaching , Organizational Culture, Leadership, and Performance Management.
She has held strategic positions in Organizational Development and Human Resource Management with large companies such as Bombardier, SNC-LAVALIN and MERCK-FROSST.
As a Senior Associate with Colin Newhouse & Associates Inc., she specializes in Leadership and Executive Coaching. She is also accreditated in all Human Synergistics technologies.
Jean-François Brault
Senior Associate
Jean-François combines 14 years of experience in leadership and talent development, team building and change management in Canada, U.S.A., Taiwan and Algeria for organisations in the manufacturing and service sectors.
He holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Ottawa and a Masters in Marine Environmental Management from Dalhousie University. He started out as lawyer and litigator with 6 years of practice and research in environmental, banking and property law with the goal of helping clients resolve their differences, a goal which he now pursues in the management and team development field.
He is recognised for his skills as a coach, trainer and facilitator and has successfully adapted to conducting business at all levels in organisations, in cross-cultural environments and living in Taiwan and China. He is fluent in English and French and functional in Mandarin Chinese.
Jean-Francois is accredited in all Human Synergistics Technologies. At Colin Newhouse & Associates, he conducts programs as a facilitator and coach at all levels of management.
Ghislaine Labelle

Ghislaine is an author, speaker and organizational psychologist. As a specialist in organizational health and effectiveness, she has written and published Une équipe du tonnerre (2001) and Comment désamorcer les conflits au travail (2005). This latter book won the prize for the best Human Resources Management book in Quebec in 2006.
Ghislaine founded Groupe Conseil SCO in 1994. Her firm specializes in organizational effectiveness. She has frequently delivered very successful programs aimed at improving team effectiveness, diagnosing and improving organizational culture, conflict prevention and resolution and individual and team coaching.
Fully accredited in Human Synergistics® technologies, Ghislaine assists Colin Newhouse and Associates as a Training Facilitator and Coach.
Marie LeBlanc

Marie has had 20 year’s experience as an executive assistant and over 10 years as Facility Manager for multinational companies. She has also studied in Management at UQAM and McGill Universities.
In 2009, Marie reoriented her career in order to achieve a good balance between her personal and professional life. This brought her to Colin Newhouse & Associates. She brings her experience to client support, administration as well as assisting with our daily operations.
Marie is a member of the Board of Directors of la Maison des Jeunes de Candiac since 2005 and has been President of this organization since 2009.
Doug Heidebrecht

Doug is an Adler Certified Professional Coach and an active member of the International Coach Federation. Toronto based, he’s been in business for 20 years and his practice combines one on one coaching with team coaching and facilitated workshops.
Regularly called in as an expert in managing priorities & workloads, Doug has appeared on BNN and in numerous publications (Globe & Mail, The Star, On Board, Your Workplace, Radio 24 in Italy, etc.)
